ANNO Stadsmuseum Zwolle

For true blue-fingers and non Zwolle residents alike, ANNO Stadsmuseum Zwolle is a must-visit. Here you will learn all about the rich history of the Hanseatic city. With augmented reality, the museum comes to life. In each room of the museum you scan a QR code. A person then appears on your phone telling a story. Archaeology, building history, monuments and archives all come together here. No corner in the ANNO is left unused to let you experience the culture and history of this special Hanseatic city.

Dutch Bakery Museum Hattem

Who doesn't love the smell of freshly baked bread? In Hattem, the Nederlands Bakkerijmuseum takes you on a delicious journey through time. From traditional breads to delicious Dutch pastries, here you'll learn all about the history of baking. The interactive museum is located in four monumental buildings, connected by a mysterious tunnel. Watch the bakers at work, feel the flour between your fingers and taste the results of centuries of craftsmanship. To conclude your visit to this museum, stop by the poffertjesalon. Here you can see the bakers at work and eat poffertjes from grandmother's time.

For the kids there is a party here every Saturday. They then get the chance to bake their own cake and learn the tricks of the baking trade. A tasty reminder of the visit!

An interactive experience you won't soon forget!

From one Hanseatic specialty to another: visit the Mustard Museum! The mustard factory has been enriching the city since 1457. More than 500 years later, the mustard made by Gosen Momme, the founder of the factory, is as popular as ever. The so-called "farmer's mustard" is therefore still made here the old-fashioned way! In the Mustard Museum you will learn all about the craft. Admire the old mustard mills and see how the mustard is prepared. And of course you will also get the chance to taste the Doesburg specialty!
